        We do not track you. Shoutout is built with privacy as a core value. We log nothing. We collect nothing. Your data stays yours.
    

Overview

Shoutout ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Shoutout does not collect, store, or transmit:

Analytics or usage data
Crash reports (unless you explicitly share them via our feedback form)
Advertising identifiers
Device identifiers for tracking
Any personal information for marketing

Your Data Stays on Your Devices

Videos and shoutouts you create are stored in two places:

Locally on your device — Your videos are saved in the app's storage on your iPhone or iPad.
iCloud (Apple CloudKit) — When you share or collaborate, data is stored in your iCloud account. We do not have access to your iCloud data. Apple manages this storage under their Privacy Policy.

Sharing & Collaboration

When you share a shoutout with others, Apple's CloudKit Sharing is used. Share links are generated by Apple's systems. We do not store, log, or access the content of your shared shoutouts.

Feedback

If you choose to send us feedback (bug reports, feature requests, or general comments) via the in-app feedback form, that information is submitted to a form we control. We use it only to improve the app. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

Push Notifications

Shoutout may request permission for push notifications to support CloudKit sync when shoutouts are updated. Notification data is handled by Apple. We do not use notifications for tracking or marketing.
